Hood Looking for a friendly vessel ... and ideas? "
Okay. Now I live in Nebraska. The wind is bad. Too bad. I spend more than my share of nights away ... overnight. Now, the Air Force has seen fit to issue me with a hood for cold winter nights ... The only problem is that wear glasses. I have to cover nose hair or face possible freezing. But when I do, my glasses fog something terrible, and from my jobs with security, that kind of need to see around me. Is there a mask, jacket, or ski mask, limiting fogging in any way? By creating a joint or what? Waterproof? Something? Furthermore, no scarves. Not professional looking enough for the leader of my flight. The foliage should be green or black. I suppose I could get that coyote / Brown. I tried Under Armor Recon and envelope. No joy. All ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Do not know why he is the cause of your glasses to fog. Wear husband and I and we never have problems that we have here in ND. Your question is the USAF and mine is "Gator" brand. Ok, just looked at some of the other questions ... you do not have air holes. Ours has vent of the nostrils. Perhaps a coat on the face Hood, then you can deploy when you need defog. See the following link to what I mean. Just another thing I can think of is to try the no-fog wipes. You with a full shift without blur! Good luck!
